During the health chec<\/span><\/span>k, we will try to detect as early<\/span><\/span>\u00a0as possible any<\/span><\/span>\u00a0health problems that may\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>impede the performance of work<\/span><\/span>\u00a0at\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>sea, and if necessary, we wi<\/span><\/span>ll begin treatment and provide\u00a0 health advice\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0can be\u00a0<\/span><\/span>done<\/span><\/span>\u00a0by the person for\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the benefit of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>his or her own health.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1778654795778{padding-bottom: 15px !important;}”]Periodic medical examinations of Crew Members\u00a0and\u00a0students studying at\u00a0maritime educational\u00a0institutions providing professional\u00a0education can only be carried out by doctors recognized by the Health Board for conducting medical examinations. Some shipping\/maritime\u00a0companies, such as cruise ships, require medical certificates on their own form\u00a0\u2013\u00a0in that case\u00a0we\u00a0recommend\u00a0taking\u00a0the\u00a0blank\u00a0forms\u00a0available\u00a0as\u00a0Crew\u00a0Members\u00a0and\/or\u00a0other\u00a0employees come in for health check.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nAt the Mymed health centre, this health check is performed by Dr Karin P\u00e4rnpuu.
