A physiotherapist provides comprehensive assistance in case of various musculoskeletal disorders in order to restore patient’s mobility and physical well-being to live a healthy life. The physiotherapist at our family health center will put together an exercise plan fit for you, will teach you to do your exercises correctly and if necessary, will use stretch therapy techniques, massage and muscle manipulative therapy on you. The physiotherapist will help athletes to restore their muscular state to normal and to bring the muscles to a state that ensures maximum athletic results during the competition. Timely action significantly shortens the treatment time and ensures better results!

For example, back pain should only be referred to a neurologist if there is a sudden onset of radiating foot pain in addition to the back pain (with bladder disorder) and/or the radiating foot pain causes a weakness in the leg. However, primary treatment for back pain is painkillers (up to 6 weeks) and at the end of the acute phase, i.e. when the pain is relieved, therapeutic gymnastics with a physiotherapist. Also, for most joint injuries, the primary activity is therapeutic gymnastics under the instructions of a specialist.

Kinesio taping is a method based on the body’s own natural healing by promoting blood and lymphatic circulation. The goal of Kinesio taping is to restore, improve and promote the physiological movement of the muscles and joints without restricting mobility. The tape is made of water-repellent stretch fabric treated with acrylic glue, which is placed on the body so that it moves with the skin and thus supports muscle movement and lymphatic system itself, i.e. the pressure on the pain receptors is reduced.

We recommend kinesio taping for the following conditions:

Overload related disorders

Sports injuries, including joint dislocations and in case of muscle tears

Neck pain

Shoulder pain

For various conditions that cause swelling, e.g. in postoperative cases

Kinesio tape does not contain medications and has no negative side effects. The treatment result is achieved through the taping technique. Tapes of different colors may be used, but the treatment outcome is not affected by that. The tape stays on the skin for 3-7 days
